Pale yellow colour. The bouquet is fine, slightly aromatic with notes of apple and acacia flowers that marry well with the hints of vanilla. In the mouth it is a, dry, fresh and well-structured wine. Particularly pleasant is the creaminess that it acquires in fermentation in barrels combining with the fruity aromatic notes.
Wine for an aperitif, which is well suited for a wide range of lean starters, soups and fish dishes. A good pairing with middle-aged cheeses.
The north side of the vineyard is sheltered by the foothills of the Dolomites; On the south side we have the Adriatic Sea providing enough moisture and a fresh sea breeze. Summers are hot while winters are cold.
Wide flat area consisting of the alluvial fan of the Cellina River. This is a thick alluvium layer of sediment made up of limestone and dolomite created by glacial melt-water, at the foot of the Dolomiti Friulane Mountains.
100% Chardonnay, hand-picked. Soft pressing with pneumatic presses. The fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel tanks, in 10 hl oak barrels and in barriques. After the fermentation process the cuvée is created, which remains on the fine lees until bottling.
